January 2005 Cash Contribution for
Tsunami Relief

Congress and the President acted to extend 2004 tax deductions to cover charitable contributions, to assist victims of 2004 major earthquake in Asia known as the Tsunami disaster.

You can deduct cash contributions tagged for Tsunami relief made by January 31, 2005.

Cash Contributions to include not only checks but also charges to your credit cards dated January 31, 2005 on 2004 tax return.
